Abstract: This research examines the influence of project scope management on project outcomes, with objectives to: 1) identify best practices in scope management, 2) evaluate the impact of scope management on project success, and 3) recommend strategies for effective scope management. A survey design was employed to collect data from project managers and team members. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 370 respondents was determined, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The study was conducted in the construction sector in Abuja, where scope management is critical. The reliability coefficient score of the survey instrument was 0.87, indicating high reliability. Findings showed that effective scope management, including clear definition, documentation, and control, significantly enhances project outcomes. Recommendations include adopting standardized scope management practices, providing training on scope management, and using tools to manage scope changes effectively.
